Great book for those who are considering an IT education but have no relation to the IT field except for what they taught themselves. Colleges and even employers have different names for one and the same occupation. The author not just clarifies what they are but describes the jobs in detail and even goes as far as suggesting certifications and how to go about pursuing your IT career goal, programming, network security, helpdesc tech, cybercrime prevention, etc...I was able to narrow down the branch I'd like to pursue in the vast field of Information Technology. one of the most grammatically error prone pieces of junk publications i've ever read. i can totally picture this jerk being a director too because he probably made it up by kissing a$%.
Overall i enjoyed the book, as a beginner i learned a few new things.one critism would be that there are parts in the book it seems like directly copied from the author's website,so it makes you wonder, but i think the rest of the book delivers what it offers and i enjoyed reading it. The author certainly knows what he talks about.
